Overview

1. The department of computer science and information engineering (CSIE) is a top department in the field of information engineering in Taiwan. Its specialization areas include computer science, computer hardware design, computer networks, mobile communications, data science, artificial intelligence, biomedical information and engineering, etc.
2. The educational goal of this department is “to cultivate excellent information engineering talents who combine theory and practice.” Adhering to the school’s educational philosophy of “cultivating professionals with rich academic theories and practical skills to improve the health of the people and promote industrial upgrading” and the school motto of “diligence and simplicity,” it is consistent with the educational goal of the School of Engineering “to cultivate outstanding engineering talents combining theory and practice.”
