Overview
The uniqueness of the institute is that backed by the extensive resources of the Chang Gung University and Chang Gung Memorial
Hospital systems, the institute leverages its expertise in combining medical care and education and facilitates the development of
innovative research leadership.
Our faculty covers medical and education-related fields, specializing in pediatric rehabilitation, innovative early intervention,
precision medicine, assistive technology, early childhood special education, early childhood literature, etc. Our goal is to nurture
graduates possessing early intervention proficiency in both medical and educational fields and to meet the needs of families with
disabilities and national policies for early intervention professionals.
The institute recruits students with diverse backgrounds in rehabilitation, medical care, education, psychology, social work, and
related fields to early intervention. Through complete professional learning and teaming practice, we aim to cultivate the high-
quality interdisciplinary clinical practice and research talents for early intervention.
